Onkyo
Like Marantz and Denon, Onkyo traces its root to producing audio equipments. Established in 1946, Onkyo has primarily concentrated on producing high fidelity audio equipments for professionals and consumers. Today, Onkyo is primarily known for producing high end home cinema and audio equipments.
Onkyo currently offers two Blu-ray disc players. Both of them feature professional grade components. Also, they support almost all audio formats with onboard audio decoding. The downside is the extra cost associated with them. Onkyo’s Blu-ray player typically demand premium over comparable player from other manufacturers.
